of Leadership Award
The choice of Akogun Olugbenga Omole as the winner of 2019 Ondo State Legislator of The Year and Emerging Leader of The Year is apt and well deserved.

The member representing Akoko South West State Constituency 1 has given a new and better definition to legislation since his inauguration as member of Ondo State House of Assembly. He has consciously been offering his constituents quality representation and also making strenuous efforts to selflessly champion the cause
of his constituents.
Moreso, sterling performances of Gbenga Omole as member of Ondo State House of Assembly and political leader have become undeniably glaring to go unnoticed.
He has since established himself in Ondo State House of Assembly as an outstanding legislator that knows his onions as far as legislative businesses are concerned.
The immediate past Education Secretary of Akoko West Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) has left no one in doubt of his ability to attain success even against all odds. The hash tag “#IstandwithAketi” which later enjoyed wide acceptability amongst the youths and instant identity for Aketi’s supporters on various social media platforms was created by Gbenga Omole. It is on record that he also made himself a dedicated and loyal supporter of Aketi since the later ventured into partisan politics in 2012. The overwhelming victory of Aketi in Oka Akoko can be attributed to the relentless social media campaigns and grassroots connective appeals of Gbenga Omole. This is coupled with his collaboration with other APC leaders in Oke Oka, while the support lent by the royal father of Oka also gave impetus to the success machinery of the party. Prior to the November, 2016 gubernatorial election, Akogun had emphatically told whoever that cared to listen that Aketi would record overwhelming victory in Akoko South West and the whole of Akoko; lo, it the election outcome turned out just as he had predicted.
