JAGABAN NA MAN ABEG!
BY: OGBENI GANI AJAGUNNA
Against their prod, he articulated – making colourful the idea through the less travelled intellectual avenue, pushing forward a generic model and explaining what practical thought in its total context connotes.
That’s why the name Jagaban of Africa suites him – a smart man who knows his onion and not your regular leader, an unrepentant patriot who picks his battles carefully and fights like an Akinkanju (fearless fellow), a thoughtful omoluabi who is not swift to utter but speak intelligence when he chooses to.
He brought the topic to those who called for him, dissecting each part with a fair touch of wisdom, comparatively analyzing our grundnorm, its deep roots in the system of government we share and a soft touch of etymology that begats us as a people.
Yet, other than the expected sober reflection, they embraced it as a time to suit and fuel their positions with twisted fables. Yes, other than learn the trade they choose to clock the media membranes with whirlwinded subjective interpretations.
Their noise won’t stop. They began yesterday and today like every other day is totally indifferent. Who else can make them understand that, Superior Strategy Win Wars Not Noise?
No doubt, the Jagaban of Africa has accurately changed the narrative with his centrist positon and beautiful refined literature, let us enjoy the masquerade dancing of pens by fault-finders.
