Hello! It is a beautiful Sunday and a great reminder of how thankful I am for all the awesome messages, good will, artistry performance, poems…
These indeed are trying times for us as humans, as a race, as a nation and as a people.
Everyday the past few weeks, we’ve read news of cases of the global pandemic better referred to as Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) which has left us all confounded.
Without a doubt that this moment shall pass soon, I urge you to adhere to the directives of the government, including staying at home, avoiding social gathering, avoiding physical contact and maintaining social distance. This, to me, is the sacrifice we all should pay as we remain hopeful that normalcy will return in the days ahead.
The fight against COVID-19 is real and with our collective support especially in taking responsibility, we will put to flight this pandemic threatening our existence.
We are not ungrateful to our health workers who are on the frontline putting their safety in the line to ensure this moment does not consume us.
We have also taken steps to ensure that the effect of this period does not tell on the vulnerable amongst us. As such, we already distributed palliative items to cushion the effect that comes with this period.
Therefore, it remains expedient that we take this period of Easter celebration to raise our voices in prayers and our hands in total submission trusting that God will let this moment pass over us.
Happy 2020 Easter Celebration.
