Akogun Olugbenga Omole was born some 46 years ago in the present day Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State. Although, his parents are from Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Akogun as he is popularly called had his primary school education St.Johns/Mary Demonstration Primary School, Owo where he obtained his First Leaving School Certificate. He proceeded to Owo High School,Owo where he obtained his West African Examination Certificate and subsequently attended Federal School of Arts and Science, Ondo for his Higher School Certificate. Omole later attended University of Ilorin where he bagged Bsc.Degree in Geography. Not satisfied with his first degree certificate, he thereafter  obtained Masters degree in Public Administration from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko.
Olugbenga was appointed a Personal Assistant to the late Chief Adebayo Adefarati and was saddled with the responsibility of being in charge of Youth and Union Matters from 2001 to 2003. He was later assigned a role at the Ondo State Football Agency (OSFA) as a Camp Commandant and the Welfare Officer of Sunshine Stars Football Club between September 2009 and December 2011.
Akogun Omole became a member of Campaign for Democracy (CD) in 1995 and member of Committee for Defence of Human Right (CDHR) in 1995. He is a foundation member of Ondo State Youth In Politics (OYIP) and became the Publicity Secretary of Ondo State Youth Forum in 2001. He is also a foundation member of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) that later morphed into the All Progressive Congress (APC).
He is a Media and Publicity  Committee member of the All Progressive Congress (ACN) in Ondo State and the Ondo State Coordinator of Broom for Every Home. He also served as the South West Zonal Coordinator of Nigeria Social Media Forum and the South West Zonal Coordinator of Nigeria Youth for Better Democracy. Omole
served as the Director of Youth Buhari/ Osinbajo Campaign Organization, Ondo State Chapter in 2015. He was later given the same responsibility when he served as a member of the Directorate of Youth, Akeredolu/Ajayi Campaign Committee in 2016.
Akogun Olugbenga Omole also served as the Coordinator of Aketi Campaign Organization in Akoko South West Local Government Area before the APC primary election in 2016. His aggressive media campaign and grassroots connective appeals was responsible for the overwhelming victory of Aketi in Oka Akoko during the 2016 governorship election.
He is the immediate past Education Secretary of Akoko West Local Government Education Authority (LGEA). He contested and won election as a member representing Akoko South West State Constituency 1 in the Ondo State House of Assembly. Omole has since established himself in the State House of Assembly as an outstanding legislator that knows his onions as far as legislative businesses are concerned.
Akogun Omole is an individual with
with a flair for writing, especially on social media platforms. This is a quality that accounted for his selection as the South West Coordinator of Nigerian Social Media Forum. He is a very resourceful youth leader, football enthusiast, farmer and a consummate politician.
He also has a deep knowledge, workings and the intricacies of Nigeria Professional Football League. Olugbenga has over the years engaged in analysing football on radio and television stations across the country.
Akogun Omole passionately loves to read, write and travel. He is an ardent respecter of family values and he is happily married with healthy and responsible children.
