Yes Double Celebration In Akinlayo Kolawole’s Family
The usual annual double celebration in the family of popular Akure based socialite and politician, Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole is being experienced yet again to the glory of God. It is indeed a celebration of God’s awesome faithfulness as the family’s matriarch, Yetunde Kolawole added another year on November 6 while the patriarch is also a year older today, November 7.
This sort of astrological occurrence could only testify to to the fact that the love life and marriage of the Kolawoles’ were indeed prearranged by God Himself. This season without doubt represents that of multiple celebration of God’s goodness and faithfulness in the family of Akinlayo Kolawole, even as their child is also a year older.
The Ekiti-born Kolawole could not have been more grateful to God for this torrent of successive good tidings. Only a thoughtful slave would know how to offer thanksgiving. Meanwhile, ‘Akin Omo Akin’ as he fondly called by his admirers and supporters is not an individual that will ever take immense faithfulness of God upon his life and family for granted.
In appreciation of God’s awesome faithfulness, Kolawole has consciously make it duty bound for himself and family to live a life of service to God and humanity. He has since been offering selfless philanthropic services to individuals and communities albeit without any form of media attention or fanfare. The contributions of Akinlayo Kolawole towards the development of Police College, Akure has been most outstanding. This thoughtful philanthropic gesture must have accounted for the Special Award of Honour presented to Akin Omo Akin by Ondo State Police Commissioner not long ago.
However, the cerebral businessman turned politician sees politics as an to render service and positively impact lives. He also cuts a different mindset that is totally different from that of an average Nigerian politician that sees politics as an avenue to make amass wealth and personal aggrandizement.
However, empathy filled Kolawole is far from being satisfied with the situation of things in the nation. He is of the opinion that Nigeria is enormously blessed by God with both human and natural resources and should therefore has no business with poverty and underdevelopment. Kolawole urged those in position of authority and indeed all Nigerians to take steps of faith by joining join hands to salvage the country from her many problems.
