Government Should Promote Me For Better Performance – Traffic Warden
Olaseni Gbenga, a popular traffic warden in Akure Ondo State who is known for his unique and excellent service delivery in the State Capital has enjoined the State Government to encourage him so as to serve as a motivation and encouragement to his colleagues in the Service.
Mr. Olaseni Gbenga has been commended by many motorist and road users for his selfless and commitment in the course of the discharge of his duties.
During an interview with the Triangle News Media, it was gathered that he is a native of Oyin-Akoko where he had his primary school education at the AUD Afin-Akoko in 1990-1997.
He joined the Nigeria Police force on the 1st of July 2007, according to him, ” I got my first promotion in 2016 and second promotion in 2020. I’m just doing my job due to passion I have for the job which I think made the motorcyclists’ and drivers’ favorite in the state.”
Also, he stated that he was inspired by the benevolence of the former Inspector General of Police Mr. Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, who gave him his first promotion.
According to him, ” I was happy and so I decided to always give my best in rendering my service to the state and the Nation.”
“What I want government to do is to promote me so as to be an encouragement to my colleagues, by so doing they too will opt their services in giving their best to the state and the Nation.” he added
